Awesome Kids!

As I was sitting in church today, testimony meeting began (this is held once a month during our combined meeting where members are able to come up the stand and bare their testimonies about the church) M was very excited and wanted to share her testimony, which she did about scriptures. K then wanted to share her testimony, but she wanted me to come up to the stand with her. Of course, I tried to get her to wait a bit so the stand would clear, but also hoping that she would forget so I wouldn't have to go up with her. I don't know why I thought this would work as my kids never forget a thing that I tell them. Eventually, I took her up there and she did a great job. I was just so impressed by my kids that I decided to bare my testimony. I really wish that I shared their same excitement in sharing their testimonies. I am just in awe of how awesome my kids really are.

This leads me to posting just a few pictures of my kids. We haven't done anything extrordinary this month. In fact, the month has been very challenging with our flooded kitchen. No matter what happens, my kids can always find the bright side of things. After making breakfast one morning, I disappeared downstairs to get some laundry going and I found the kids making a choo-choo train with the bar stools. It didn't matter that half the kitchen was torn apart, they still found the fact that things were in a slightly different position, amusing. I really learn so much from my kiddos.

As a side note, the last picture is one of K after finishing a puzzle. She was just so excited about finishing it by herself that I took a picture of it. She has moved on to more challenging puzzles and is determined to finish her Princess and the Frog puzzle all by herself. (Obviously, this picture was taken before the flood. I am not quite ready to post the aftermath.)
