Happy Easter!

Happy Easter 2009!

First and foremost, we want to shout out a big THANKS to Grandma Shirley for coming out to visit us! Mom, you were a big, BIG HELP! It was so sad in the car after we dropped you off at the airport. Everyone was crying and M and K were so sad that they didn't give you a kiss after all. We already miss you so much! (M wore her new dress on her date with Jon to the movies.)

We had a really nice Easter at home. The girls got to color their Easter eggs. K was a little too excited and ended up breaking all her eggs before they were even dried. If that wasn't enough fun, the girls got a brand new swing set for Easter. Jon spent 3 hours just putting it together and they enjoyed playing on it every minute that he was putting it together.

Of course, with the excitement of Easter, the girls were up bright and early today. The egg hunt lasted a whole 2 minutes (this is fast because the bunny did hide 50 plastic eggs). We have been having some melt downs from the girls and I think it is out of jealousy to their new brother. It will just take some time for everyone to adjust to the new family situation.

All in all, everyone is happy and healthy. L is getting big and already has his dad wrapped around his little finger. I am surviving only with the help of a great ward family that is willing to take my girls for playdates and drop off meals to us.

Congrats you guys! We are so excited and happy for you. What a cutie! What a fun Easter. A new baby is always an adjustment, I'm sure we'll be going through the same thing in a month or so as well. Hopefully by then you guys have it mastered so you can give us all the tips right? So glad you guys are so well taken care of up there.
