Of course, my little climber always found something to climb on no matter where we were. He loved climbing on the drift wood!
We did make it to a ton of tide pools. The kids loved to see what they could find. We found this starfish just floating in the water. It actually had a muscle inside of it that it was eating. (And yes, we did not pull it off the rocks. So, they said we could pick it up and touch it.)
K and L playing on the beach on the Oregon coast. The cold weather did not stop my kids and husband from diving in and playing. I, however, stayed on the beautiful beaches soaking up the sun. The kids had a blast building sand castles, flying kites, collecting crab shells and anything else they could find.
We finally took a family picture! We had an amazing time heading to Oregon this year. We made a few stops on the way at grandma & grandpa's house, we stopped at some falls, the oregon zoo and finally made it to our friend's home in Salem. We took our friends to the coast this year. We rented a house on the beach and had a blast discovering the tide pools, light houses, the acquarium and just about everything else involving sand. It was a blast!
