Jon has started taking the kids out on special "dates" together. The kids love going to the hardware stores with him each weekend. You can tell that K is just very excited about that hammer in her hands.
Jon took the girls the temple one Sunday when mom had to get some RS stuff together (oh yeah, they called me as the RS secretary a couple of weeks ago). They were very excited!
So, the kids and I planted a garden this year. It actually did very well. The funny thing was that I let the girls plant the carrots on their own. They did a great job...until they dropped the rest of the seeds in the rock path that leads to the storage shed. We had some very interesting carrots come out of that spot!
L loves to hug poles, trees, and just about anything he can get his arm around. This is us waiting for M's bus!
So, we went over to our neighbor's house for a birthday party. They had water guns out and were using this bucket to fill them up. I just love the picture on the side compared to what we were letting L do! What great parents we are?!?!?!?
