Christmas Time!

Just a quick recap of our christmas!

First, Santa came a little early to our home. We knew we were heading to Grandma & Grandpa's for the holiday, so the girls called Santa to see if he would come a day early. Of course, he was willing to come and the girls were so excited. I woke up to all the kids (including Jon) just waiting in the living room for the gift opening to begin. M loves to open all her presents as quickly as possible while K is content to open just one at a time and play with that gift for a good while. We decided to keep Christmas gifts simple this year since we are saving to buy a home and hopefully furnish it!

After Jon's work on Christmas Eve, we drove down to see the rest of the family. We were just in time for our appetizer dinner and reenacting the nativity. M played Mary, K was an angel, and L was a shepherd boy. I love watching all the grandkids get all dressed up!

During our stay, we did get one unexpected gift one morning. Once L got up, Jon brought him down to me to show me something very interesting. L had gum in his hair!!! I have no idea how it ended up in his hair, but there you go. Once we got L eating breakfast, I took some butter to his hair to get it out. Luckily, it all came out without having to cut any of his hair. (Although, I do have to admit that he does look good with blue hair!!!)

We had a great time hanging out with everyone! (And of course, I had to add a picture of one of K's most famous outfits! I love what she can come up with!)

SORRY the pictures are out of order...long day!
