Well, it took the whole of a year to finally finish, but now we have it! Jon and his dad finished up our van, so now we can fit our entire family in one vehicle (and very comfortably, might I add)! It was so nice to have it done to drive to Utah for the Pauole family reunion. The girls love being able to stand up and walk inside the car. (Although, I think Liam is a little saddened that he no longer has two beautiful sisters on each side of him to keep him entertained.)
The story behind the van is that we purchased it last summer from an online insurance auction. The poor thing was seriously damaged because it was in a roll-over accident. Jon and Dean did an amazing job. They purchased another van and cut out the passenger side, then they cut out the damaged, passenger side of this van and then welded the good parts together. It just blows my mind to think that people actually can do these kinds of things! And now, after countless hours of sanding, welding, and finding car parts all over the US, we have a great van!
