The girls and I just returned from an absolutely fabulous trip from Phoenix, AZ! (Seriously, if you ever get a chance to escape the cold winter for a trip in a much warmer climate, take it!)
We didn't leave until Tuesday, but the picture above is the girls packing ALL of their things on Sunday because they were just so excited to spend the week with family. K even included some books, fairy wings, and play food. M put all her sweaters in her suitcase, but I told her she might not need them down south. However, she felt much better once she found out that she could take her flip-flops.
I took a picture of my bare feet out in the backyard as well to remind myself how nice it is to go outside without worrying about bundling up. In fact, I had a long conversation with M today trying to tell her that we have to put real shoes one and coats here or else we will freeze!
Of course, K had a great time because Cheryl had an endless supply of princess dresses! Seriously, people don't really believe me that you can't find her without a dress on, but it really is true. She only takes one off long enough to take a bath and then it goes back on over the pajamas. I don't know how she got so "girlie" (as D put it), but she is!
Thanks again Kapena and Cheryl for an awesome week! We really didn't want to come back if it wasn't for missing Jon so much. The girls miss their cousins like crazy and K even got up today with her hands up in the air wondering where "Auntee Cheryl" was. WE LOVE YOU!
