Kids always say the most hilarious things at the most inappropriate times. Today, while sitting in church, the kids were being very good and I was actually able to catch a few minutes of what each speaker was saying. In any case, there was this nice lady speaking about trials in life and how we need to just enjoy life and laugh at what may come. So, she is talking about this poor family that used to live next to them and they were suffering greatly with a child who had a large brain tumor and no medical help was working. So, during this talk, Jon is keeping M occupied by making drawings for her as she demanded. In any case, M asks for him to draw Big Bird and so, Jon does what she asks and as he finishes the drawing, M looks up at him and says, "Dad, have you ever seen Sesame Street before?" because she was obviously not happy with the outcome. In any case, Jon and I are trying hard to keep from busting out laughing during this very emotional talk. (Well, at least we were just laughing at life like the lady said.)
